I am back.... with that picture of my door I promised! Oh- WE WON! Our door won the first place prize for RED RIBBON WEEK!! YEA! We are "too sweet for drugs." The kids were so excited and they keep telling me daily, "say no to drugs" and "drugs are bad." It is such a great age...they listen to everything you say and repeat it.
Well, it has been another whirlwind of a week. I had Intersession training today and it was good...BUT it is going to be A LOT of planning. I mean LOTS--more than the 1/2 hour we get! I was looking forward to it, but now I am a bit stressed out about it. I hope it goes well.... I just want to be able to make a difference and I am not so sure that is going to be so easy with the amount of students I may have. We also found out that the kids need to be grouped according to their benchmark reading level, which may be very tough! We have kids all over the place! Well...I will cross this bridge when I get to it. For now, I will concentrate on my own babies:)
