UPDATE

Okay....still NO colors from my little one, but I think she may have the Dd today. I had her practicing all day--workshop, reading, wore it all day, her name was D..etc. I asked her after the 1st hour and she did not know....2nd hour she still did not....3rd hour....SHE KNEW IT! YEA! I gave her some letter cards and the letter Dd to take home. As we lined up today I flashed each student a word and I flashed her the letter Dd and she knew it! I was excited and she got a sticker..(funny how she did not even care at all) We will see tomorrow if she knows it considering it is in her own special homework packet I made her (which has not been returned EVER.) I can only keep trying and working day by day................
