NEW STUDENT

Yes, yet another new student. This morning a nice African American woman came out to introduce herself to me with a sweet little girl. Little did I know this was my student to replace Maliyah (who left Friday for Las Vegas:(--actually Victorville)
"Hi, I am Jada Latoya Bell" she said with a big smile. I melted. So cute, so happy, and so excited to meet me. I was elated! YEA! A student with verbal skills and excited about school...YIPPPEEEE. Beats the last two that I have to beg to speak. I don't care what they know as long as they come with enthusiasm!!!!!

She was so enthusiastic that she wet her pants today and had to go home early on her first day. We were out at recess and she said..."I gotta use it" I said "go,go, go....Audrey go with her"...but it was too late....her pants were getting a darker shade of blue by the second. She looked at me in disbelief.
Mom was very nice and said "she has a little problem with this." All I could think was 1-have you gone to the doctor about this, and 2-is she potty trained? Okay, it happens.
